Curent version of Apache 2.2 are loggin
1 Jan 1970 dates. Not happening with Apaceh 2.0 .

Where should I start looking?

Huh? context, please. Are you talking about the date stamps in the log
files? it is too early for the 2038 bug to bite you.

If so, I would open up a shell and type:

date

and see if the system clock was...confused. And are the Apache config
files the same for both versions? you should look to see if there is a
log file format specified in the configuration.

Date is all right.

I might has to adjust the way the date is being recognised
by Apache 2.2
