mpm_event and AIX

Hi:
Is there any recommendation or consideration on the usage of mpm_event (with apache 2-4-6) on AIX 7.1?
Is this possible?
Should I've some recommended environment?
I've been reviewing this http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/event.html and I can't any particular tip or consideration.

Event needs threadsafe pollset support in APR, and there is no impl for AIX pollsets.
